Skin overview

Bamboo Shadow is a dark, understated hydrographic with brush-painted bamboo and a red seal. Because the float range stops well short of the maximum, Battle-Scarred copies are scuffed rather than stripped, with wear concentrated on edges and the pump. It is the cheapest way to get the full look of the skin.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and barrel are covered in a dark charcoal hydrographic with faint brown-grey bamboo leaves drawn in loose brush strokes. A small red seal sits on the side of the receiver above the trigger and is the only bright accent on the gun.

Wear is heaviest on the barrel, muzzle, receiver edges and pump, where the bamboo pattern breaks up into patches. Because the float range ends early, the finish is not stripped to bare metal across the whole gun. In game it reads as a rough, dark shotgun with scattered scuffs. Some of the receiver centre and the stock keep their colour.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Bamboo Shadow is 0–0.6; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.6 segment (25% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Sawed-Off | Bamboo Shadow belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Taking Battle-Scarred as the baseline, Factory New — 1.8× dearer. Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

By price this skin is 4th of 8 skins Consumer Grade Sawed-Off in this quality (the first being the dearest).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and muted gold stickers echo the red seal and the ink-painting style. Placing them on the receiver near the seal keeps the composition balanced, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the dark base.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the barrel edges.
  • Look at the red seal on the receiver, as it is the main accent and should stay clear.
  • Inspect the muzzle and the pump grip ribs, which wear first on this finish.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, because they change the look of a quiet design.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget entry for players who just want the skin in their loadout.
  • Fans of rough, scuffed finishes, which stay dark rather than stripped here.
  • The cheapest way to own the look.
