Skin overview

Bamboo Shadow is recognised by its dark hydrographic body, the faint leaf pattern and the single red seal near the trigger. In Field-Tested the edges of the barrel and receiver start to show lighter scuffs, which suit the worn, old-shotgun character of the design. The bamboo motif and the red mark remain readable.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and barrel are covered in a dark charcoal hydrographic with faint brown-grey bamboo leaves drawn in loose brush strokes. A small red seal sits on the side of the receiver above the trigger and is the only bright accent on the gun.

Lighter scratches show along the barrel, the muzzle and the edges of the receiver. The ribs of the pump grip begin to lose colour. In game the gun looks used but tidy, and the bamboo leaves are still visible. The central receiver area with the red seal mostly stays clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Bamboo Shadow is 0–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (38% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and muted gold stickers echo the red seal and the ink-painting style. Placing them on the receiver near the seal keeps the composition balanced, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the dark base.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the barrel edges.
  • Look at the red seal on the receiver, as it is the main accent and should stay clear.
  • Inspect the muzzle and the pump grip ribs, which wear first on this finish.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, because they change the look of a quiet design.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who like a used look that fits an old sawed-off shotgun.
  • Budget buyers who still want the bamboo pattern clearly visible.
  • The most balanced everyday choice for this skin.
