Souvenir Sawed-Off | Clay Ambush (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Clay Ambush is built around a tiger motif printed in tan over brown, with plain copper-brown furniture on the pump and stock. Field-Tested copies show visible chipping on the muzzle, the receiver edges and the pump, while the pattern in the middle of the panels still holds. The earthy palette hides much of this wear, so the skin still looks coherent in hand.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and barrel are painted dark brown and covered with tan tiger figures and swirling shapes, with the largest figures visible on the receiver sides. The pump forend is a smooth copper-brown with a ribbed grip surface, and the stock carries a reddish-brown tone that darkens towards the butt.

Chips are visible on the muzzle, along the top edges of the barrel and receiver and on the ribs of the pump. The butt of the stock starts to show light scuffs. In game the wear is noticeable on close inspection but the tiger figures in the middle of the receiver still read well. The central areas of the panels and most of the stock stay clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Clay Ambush is 0–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (38% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Sawed-Off | Clay Ambush belongs to The Havoc Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in gold, bronze, beige or muted orange match the tan tigers and the copper pump. Placing them on the receiver side away from the largest tiger figures keeps the motif visible, while dark or black stickers sit quietly against the brown base.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float within the chosen wear, since the muzzle and pump show the difference first.
• Check the receiver sides, where the largest tiger figures sit and where wear is most visible to you.
• For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and how they sit on the receiver.
• Check whether a name tag is attached if you want the original name.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the skin for regular use and do not mind visible edge wear.
• Buyers who like how the brown palette hides wear.
• Conclusion: a balanced middle option.
