Skin overview
The skin pairs a dark brown body with tan tiger shapes and a warm copper pump, giving the shotgun a muted, earthy look. At Minimal Wear the difference from a fresh copy is limited to faint marks on edges that are hard to spot at normal distance. It keeps nearly the whole look of the cleanest grade while usually costing a buyer less.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The receiver and barrel are painted dark brown and covered with tan tiger figures and swirling shapes, with the largest figures visible on the receiver sides. The pump forend is a smooth copper-brown with a ribbed grip surface, and the stock carries a reddish-brown tone that darkens towards the butt.
Small marks may appear on the muzzle and on the front edge of the pump. They are tiny and blend into the brown palette. At normal distance the skin looks the same as Factory New. The receiver panels and the stock remain clean.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Clay Ambush is 0–0.6; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (13% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Sawed-Off | Clay Ambush belongs to The Havoc Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in gold, bronze, beige or muted orange match the tan tigers and the copper pump. Placing them on the receiver side away from the largest tiger figures keeps the motif visible, while dark or black stickers sit quietly against the brown base.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float within the chosen wear, since the muzzle and pump show the difference first.
- Check the receiver sides, where the largest tiger figures sit and where wear is most visible to you.
- For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and how they sit on the receiver.
- Check whether a name tag is attached if you want the original name.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want an almost clean shotgun without paying for the top grade.
- Crafters for whom tiny edge marks do not matter.
- Conclusion: the practical choice for a clean look.
