Skin overview
Fusion's black and gold swirl panel is the one decorative element on an otherwise plain shotgun, and in Battle-Scarred it carries heavy damage. Gold and copper areas are broken up by abrasion, and the edges of the weapon show bare, scratched metal. It is the cheapest way to own the skin, and its worn look is a deliberate choice for some players.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The barrels, magazine tube and ribbed pump forend are finished in plain dark gunmetal grey with no pattern. The receiver carries the main artwork: a dense, flowing pattern of black and gold contour-like swirls that resembles marbled metal, and according to the description more detail shows up under different lighting.
The copper trim is mostly gone, leaving bare scratched areas on the grip and stock. The receiver panel is heavily abraded, with gold broken up across the swirl pattern. Barrels and muzzle ends show dense wear down to lighter metal. In game the black and gold look is still recognisable, though rough and faded.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Fusion is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Sawed-Off | Fusion belongs to The Dead Hand Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Sealed Dead Hand Terminal.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, holo-gold or black stickers match the receiver artwork and the copper trim. Placing them on the plain grey barrels keeps the swirl panel uncovered and adds contrast to the dark metal.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since cleaner copies keep the copper stock trim intact.
- Inspect the edges of the receiver panel, as the gold swirls fade there first.
- Look at the muzzle ends and the stock outline for early scratches.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, which may change how the dark receiver looks.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for players who simply want Fusion in their loadout.
- Fans of heavily worn, rugged finishes.
- In short, the most affordable way to use the skin.
