Skin overview

Lunar Wyrm is recognised by its red and cream palette and the serpent coiled around a pale moon on the side of the receiver. In Field-Tested the serpent and moon are still clearly readable, while the ribbed pump and the receiver edges start to show scratches. The finish takes on a used look without losing its main image.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver carries the main artwork: a red and gold serpent coiled around a pale moon disc on a warm gold and crimson field with small star marks. The ribbed pump is painted crimson with pale cream wave-like shapes across its grooves, while the barrel and the tube below stay dark gunmetal with light engraved scroll lines.

Scratches spread along the pump ribs, and the cream wave shapes start to look patchy. The edges of the receiver show wear, while the serpent and moon in the centre are mostly readable. In game the red and gold still dominate, with the worn pump visible up close. The stock may show the first faint marks.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Lunar Wyrm is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Arabesque Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, red and cream stickers match the palette of the receiver and pump. Placing them on the barrel or near the stock keeps the serpent and moon on the receiver visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower values keep more of the serpent and moon intact.
• Look at the pump ribs and the receiver edges in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
• On worn copies make sure the serpent in the centre of the receiver is still readable.
• Souvenir copies come with their own stickers, so check whether their placement covers the receiver artwork.
