Skin overview

The skin pairs dark engraved barrels with a crimson pump and a gold-toned receiver carrying the serpent and moon motif. Minimal Wear keeps the artwork practically intact, with only faint marks at the edges that are hard to spot in game. It gives the clean look of the top grade while leaving room in the budget.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver carries the main artwork: a red and gold serpent coiled around a pale moon disc on a warm gold and crimson field with small star marks. The ribbed pump is painted crimson with pale cream wave-like shapes across its grooves, while the barrel and the tube below stay dark gunmetal with light engraved scroll lines.

Light scuffs may appear on the muzzle edges and on the tops of the pump ribs. The serpent, the moon and the star marks on the receiver remain intact. At normal distance in game the skin is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The stock ornament and barrel engraving stay clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Lunar Wyrm is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Arabesque Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, red and cream stickers match the palette of the receiver and pump. Placing them on the barrel or near the stock keeps the serpent and moon on the receiver visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower values keep more of the serpent and moon intact.
• Look at the pump ribs and the receiver edges in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
• On worn copies make sure the serpent in the centre of the receiver is still readable.
• Souvenir copies come with their own stickers, so check whether their placement covers the receiver artwork.
