Show allAllSkin overview
The Kraken turns the Sawed-Off into a canvas for a coiling orange octopus set against a teal sea. In Field-Tested the paint starts to chip along the edges of the pump and receiver, giving the piece a used look. The octopus itself stays readable and the colours remain strong.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The forend carries an orange octopus whose tentacles twist around it on a teal-green background with gold-outlined swirls and pale suckers. The receiver repeats the motif, with the octopus head and more tentacles spreading toward the trigger area.
Paint chips become visible along the edges of the forend and around the receiver corners. Some fine gold lines near the edges lose sharpness. In game the wear shows mainly when you pump and inspect. The central octopus and most tentacles stay clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Sawed-Off | The Kraken ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 57% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Winter Offensive Collection with 13 skins in total.
It drops from Winter Offensive Weapon Case (on sale since Dec 18, 2013).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Orange, gold and teal stickers match the octopus and sea palette. Placing them on the dark barrel or stock keeps the painting on the forend and receiver uncovered.
What to check before buying
- Check the float position within the wear, since lower values keep the forend edges cleaner.
- Inspect the front and rear edges of the forend, where chipping shows first.
- Look at the receiver corners near the trigger guard for paint loss.
- Check whether stickers or a name tag are applied and whether they fit the octopus artwork.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the full artwork for everyday use.
- Buyers who like a slightly used look.
- A practical pick for regular play.
