Souvenir Sawed-Off | The Kraken (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This Sawed-Off carries a painted kraken in orange and teal, with tentacles curling across the forend and the receiver. In Minimal Wear the artwork looks practically the same as a fresh copy, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. It keeps the full look of the skin at a grade below the cleanest one.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The forend carries an orange octopus whose tentacles twist around it on a teal-green background with gold-outlined swirls and pale suckers. The receiver repeats the motif, with the octopus head and more tentacles spreading toward the trigger area.

Small marks may appear on the front edge of the forend and the corners of the receiver. They are hard to notice without zooming in. At normal distance the skin looks like Factory New. The octopus and its details remain untouched.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Sawed-Off | The Kraken ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 20% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, gold and teal stickers match the octopus and sea palette. Placing them on the dark barrel or stock keeps the painting on the forend and receiver uncovered.

• Inspect the front and rear edges of the forend, where chipping shows first.
