Skin overview

The Zander pattern depends on the contrast between olive paint and dark bars along the receiver. On a Well-Worn copy that contrast softens, as paint thins on edges and raised parts and the shotgun takes on the look of a tool in regular use. The overall colour scheme still identifies the skin at a glance.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver carries the main artwork: an olive-green field that darkens toward the top, crossed by dark vertical bars like the stripes on a fish's side. The barrel and magazine tube are dark gunmetal and end in a greenish-gold muzzle cap, and the trigger guard picks up the same olive-gold tone.

The paint thins over a larger part of the receiver, so the stripes fade in places and the olive tone loses depth. The trigger guard and the edges of the stock butt show clear wear, and the pump ridges are worn further. At normal distance the colours still read, but the finish looks faded. The dark barrel is the most intact part.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Zander is 0.05–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Spectrum Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Spectrum Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Olive, green, brown, gold and black stickers match the natural palette of the receiver and the wood-toned furniture. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps them clear of the stripe pattern's edges, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted scheme.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within its wear range, as copies at the clean end of a grade look noticeably better than those at the worn end.
  • Inspect the receiver edges and the muzzle cap, since they lose paint first and decide how clean the gun looks.
  • Look at applied stickers and name tags, and decide between regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir copies, since all three exist.
  • Make sure the dark stripes on the receiver are still distinct if the fish motif is the reason you are buying.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget-minded players who still want the colour scheme to read in game.
  • Fans of a faded, used-tool look on shotguns.
  • A practical pick when appearance is secondary.
