Skin overview

SCAR-20 | Army Sheen is a Consumer Grade sniper rifle finish in metallic foil stamped with a camouflage pattern. The olive, grey and dark tones sit close together, so the rifle reads as one muted military shape. In Factory New the foil keeps an even sheen, and the camouflage edges stay crisp across the receiver and handguard.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Field-Tested.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and the long handguard carry a stamped camouflage of dark olive, grey-green and near-black patches under a metallic sheen. The barrel, muzzle device and scope stay dark, which frames the patterned body.

The foil is intact on every part of the rifle and the sheen is even. Camouflage patches have sharp borders on the receiver and handguard. The rail edges, magazine and stock corners show no marks. In game it looks exactly like the clean preview.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Army Sheen is 0–0.3; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir SCAR-20 | Army Sheen belongs to The Chop Shop Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in olive, khaki, black or matte gold match the military palette. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the camouflage on the handguard visible, and bright colours will stand out sharply against the muted finish.
