Souvenir SCAR-20 | Army Sheen (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

This SCAR-20 is covered in a camouflage-stamped metallic foil in olive and grey, close to standard-issue colours. The finish range stops early in Field-Tested, so this grade shows only light wear rather than heavy damage. The sheen is slightly duller on the edges, while the camouflage itself stays readable.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and the long handguard carry a stamped camouflage of dark olive, grey-green and near-black patches under a metallic sheen. The barrel, muzzle device and scope stay dark, which frames the patterned body.

Light wear spreads along the rail edges, the handguard edges and the bottom of the magazine, where the foil turns duller. The stock corners can show small worn spots. Because the range ends early in this grade, the camouflage on the receiver stays clearly visible. In game the rifle reads as slightly used rather than damaged.

The float of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Army Sheen ranges from 0 to 0.3; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.3 — 50% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Chop Shop Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in olive, khaki, black or matte gold match the military palette. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the camouflage on the handguard visible, and bright colours will stand out sharply against the muted finish.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since cleaner copies keep a more even sheen on the rail and magazine.
• The camouflage stamp does not change meaningfully between copies, so pattern is not a deciding factor.
• Look at the top rail and magazine edges first, as they lose their sheen before other parts.
• Check whether it is a Souvenir copy and which stickers or name tag are already applied.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Budget buyers who want a muted SCAR-20 skin for regular play.
• Players who like a slightly used military look.
• An inexpensive entry, as wear stays light in this range.
