Skin overview

SCAR-20 | Assault is a Mil-Spec Grade custom paint job: a blue base with a hand-painted white research facility logo over the body of the rifle. In Factory New the blue is even and saturated, and the white markings keep sharp, clean edges. This is the grade where the contrast between the two colours is at its strongest.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and the long handguard are covered in a blue base with white hand-painted markings that form parts of a research facility logo. The barrel, muzzle device, top rails and the large scope stay dark grey and frame the coloured body.

The blue base is uniform over the receiver, handguard and stock accents. White markings have clean edges with no breaks. In game the rifle reads as a bright blue body against grey hardware. Every painted part looks fresh.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Assault ranges from 0 to 0.62; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

White, silver and blue stickers continue the scheme without fighting the logo markings. Placing them on the grey parts near the stock or along the lower receiver keeps the painted motif visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low value in a grade keeps the white markings noticeably cleaner.
• Look at the receiver edges and rail sections, as these lose paint first.
• Make sure the white logo lines on the side of the receiver are not broken up on worn copies.
• Check applied stickers and a name tag, and choose StatTrak™ or Souvenir only if that version matters to you.
