Skin overview

Crimson Web on the SCAR-20 is built on a simple contrast of red and black, with the web pattern spread unevenly over the rifle's large body. In Field-Tested the red begins to lose paint on edges and raised parts, while the main panels still carry the pattern clearly. The finish reads as a used but cared-for weapon.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, upper section and handguard carry a red base coat with a fine black spider web laid over it, and the same red continues onto the pistol grip and the stock. The barrel, muzzle brake, scope, rails and magazine stay dark grey and black, framing the red body.

Paint loss becomes visible along the receiver edges, the rails and the corners of the stock, with light scratches on the pistol grip. The red on the flat panels is still solid and the web reads clearly there. In game the wear is noticeable when inspecting but does not break the overall look. The large side surfaces of the receiver and handguard stay mostly intact.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Crimson Web is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white and red stickers blend with the web and base coat for a matching look. Gold or silver stickers placed on the dark receiver area near the scope stand out without clashing with the red.

• Look at how the web falls on the receiver side and stock, as placement differs between copies.
