Skin overview

The rifle is easy to recognise by its red body crossed with a black web and framed by a dark barrel, scope and magazine. In Minimal Wear the colour still reads as fully intact, and any marks are small enough to need a close look. It is the practical choice for a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, upper section and handguard carry a red base coat with a fine black spider web laid over it, and the same red continues onto the pistol grip and the stock. The barrel, muzzle brake, scope, rails and magazine stay dark grey and black, framing the red body.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges of the receiver and the top of the rails. The red remains saturated and the web stays sharp on all main panels. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The stock, handguard and grip still look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Crimson Web is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 2 Collection with 12 skins in total.

It drops from CS:GO Weapon Case 2 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white and red stickers blend with the web and base coat for a matching look. Gold or silver stickers placed on the dark receiver area near the scope stand out without clashing with the red.

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since a low float inside a mid grade can look noticeably cleaner.
• Look at how the web falls on the receiver side and stock, as placement differs between copies.
• Inspect the rails, receiver edges and pistol grip first, because paint wears there earliest.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag and decide if they suit you before buying.
