Skin overview

SCAR-20 | Cyrex is a high-tech finish in black, white and red: a dark gunmetal body, a light panel on the lower receiver and thin red accents running along the rifle. In Factory New the red lines stay sharp and the white scope tube has no marks, so the contrast reads exactly as designed.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and handguard are painted dark gunmetal grey with panel lines, small markings and a thin red stripe along the side, while the barrel and top rail stay black. The lower receiver and magazine well carry a white panel with grey technical detailing, and the magazine and grip remain dark.

The white panel and scope tube are clean and even, with no visible scratches. The red ring on the scope and the red stripe on the receiver have crisp edges. In game the rifle looks sharp and bright against the dark body. Every marking on the stock and receiver is fully legible.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Cyrex ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 14% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Huntsman Collection with 20 skins in total.

It drops from Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in red, white or black blend naturally with the Cyrex scheme, especially holo or foil variants with red highlights. Placing them on the dark receiver area above the white panel keeps the contrast clean, while the white lower section is best left uncovered so the design stays readable.
