Skin overview

SCAR-20 | Emerald is a Restricted sniper rifle finish in the Anodized style: a chrome base under a transparent emerald coat that gives the metal a deep, glassy green. In Factory New the colour sits evenly across the receiver and handguard, and the light catches the edges with a bright, almost glowing green. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the chrome-and-candy effect exactly as intended.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The upper receiver, the long handguard with its rails and the lower receiver are covered in a transparent emerald coat over chrome, which gives deep green tones in the recesses and bright green highlights on the edges. The barrel, muzzle brake and scope stay dark gunmetal grey, so the green body stands out between them.

In Factory New the emerald coat is intact on every part of the receiver and handguard. The edges of the rails and receiver keep a clean, bright green highlight with no visible chrome showing through. In game the rifle reads as a solid, glossy green body with dark accents. Low floats in this grade look the same at normal distance and differ only on close inspection.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Emerald is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Alpha Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
