Skin overview

The Emerald look is a single saturated green over polished metal, framed by dark grey parts. In Minimal Wear that green stays rich and reflective, with only small marks that need a close look to find. It keeps the anodized character of the skin while usually costing less than the cleanest grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The upper receiver, the long handguard with its rails and the lower receiver are covered in a transparent emerald coat over chrome, which gives deep green tones in the recesses and bright green highlights on the edges. The barrel, muzzle brake and scope stay dark gunmetal grey, so the green body stands out between them.

In Minimal Wear small scuffs can appear on the sharpest edges of the receiver and on the tops of the rail sections. These spots may look slightly lighter, as if the green has thinned over the chrome. The flat surfaces of the handguard and receiver stay fully coloured and glossy. At normal distance in game the rifle looks almost the same as a Factory New copy.

Souvenir SCAR-20 | Emerald belongs to The Alpha Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, gold, silver and black stickers sit well against the emerald body without breaking the colour scheme. Holographic or foil stickers echo the chrome shine, and placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps them clearly visible.

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since a Minimal Wear copy close to the upper end is more likely to show marks on the edges.
• Inspect the rail edges and receiver corners in close view, as these are the first places where the green coat thins.
