Skin overview

Green Marine pairs a glossy green camo body with an olive stock, giving the SCAR-20 a uniform military look. At Minimal Wear the finish is close to new, with only faint marks that are hard to spot from the first-person view. It keeps almost all of the metallic shine while usually costing less than the top grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver and handguard are covered in a dark green camouflage with metallic paint, where deeper green and near-black shapes overlap. The top rail and the area around the magazine well carry small lime-green accents that catch the eye against the darker base.

Faint scratches may appear on the rail edges and the sharpest corners of the receiver. The camo pattern and metallic sheen remain intact on the large surfaces. At normal distance the rifle is hard to tell apart from a Factory New copy. The stock and handguard stay clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Green Marine is 0–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Green, olive, black and metallic gold stickers sit well on this dark camo and keep the military theme. Holo or foil stickers in green tones placed on the side of the receiver echo the metallic paint, while a single bright accent sticker can stand out against the muted base.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the rail edges.
• Look at the top rail and receiver edges in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
• Check the stock corners and lime accents, which show wear earlier than the flat surfaces.
• See whether applied stickers or a name tag match the green colour scheme before paying for them.
