Skin overview

Magna Carta is a purple hydrographic print with gold crests and scrawled lettering across the rifle. Battle-Scarred is the most worn grade, and patches of grey metal break the pattern on the edges, rail and magazine, while the larger panels keep their colour. It is the most affordable way to carry this scheme on a SCAR-20.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, handguard and stock are covered in a deep purple base with a dense overlay of gold and cream crests, swirling scrawls and fragments of text. The print continues onto the magazine and the pistol grip area, while the barrel, muzzle device, top rail and scope stay dark grey and black, framing the colour.

The edges, rail, magazine and stock corners show wide patches of grey metal, and the pattern there is broken up. Wear also cuts into the side panels, so the gold details look patchy. The range of this skin stops short of the heaviest wear, so the large panels still keep a recognisable purple. In game the skin reads as a rough, weathered version of the same scheme.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.6

The float of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Magna Carta ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.6 — 25% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Control Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, cream and holographic stickers echo the crests and lettering of the print. Dark or purple stickers on the handguard blend into the base, while a single bright accent works best on the flat side of the receiver.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep noticeably more print on the edges.
• Check the handguard edges, top rail and magazine bottom first, as they lose the pattern before the rest of the rifle.
• If you consider a Souvenir copy, make sure its pre-applied stickers fit the purple and gold scheme.
• Check any applied stickers and name tag, because they change how the busy pattern reads.
