Skin overview

This SCAR-20 finish is built around purple tones and an ornate pattern of crests and text from the Magna Carta. Well-Worn copies show bare metal along the edges and on raised parts, which gives the rifle a used, document-like roughness. The purple still dominates the receiver and stock, so the skin stays identifiable.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver, handguard and stock are covered in a deep purple base with a dense overlay of gold and cream crests, swirling scrawls and fragments of text. The print continues onto the magazine and the pistol grip area, while the barrel, muzzle device, top rail and scope stay dark grey and black, framing the colour.

Bare metal spreads along all edges, the rail and the magazine, and the fine lettering in those areas is partly lost. Scratches start to reach the side panels of the handguard. In game the rifle looks clearly used, though the purple base still reads. The central parts of the receiver and stock hold most of the colour.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Magna Carta is 0–0.6; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir SCAR-20 | Magna Carta belongs to The Control Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, cream and holographic stickers echo the crests and lettering of the print. Dark or purple stickers on the handguard blend into the base, while a single bright accent works best on the flat side of the receiver.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep noticeably more print on the edges.
• Check the handguard edges, top rail and magazine bottom first, as they lose the pattern before the rest of the rifle.
• If you consider a Souvenir copy, make sure its pre-applied stickers fit the purple and gold scheme.
• Check any applied stickers and name tag, because they change how the busy pattern reads.
