Skin overview

The SCAR-20 | Powercore keeps its dark green base even in the roughest grade, which is what still identifies it from a distance. In Battle-Scarred the yellow accents are heavily chipped, the edges show bare material and the code label loses clarity. The result is a rugged, worn-down take on the design rather than the clean technical look.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and handguard are painted dark green with near-black inset panels, and a thin yellow line runs along the lower edge of the receiver. On the side sits a small label with the SCAR-20 marking and a barcode-style strip.

The yellow accents are heavily chipped across the scope, barrel, stock and magazine, with bare material on edges. Scratches cover the green panels on the receiver as well, and the code label becomes blurred. In game the skin looks rough and dark, with little of the yellow contrast left. Only the darker recessed areas keep a fairly even look.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Yellow, gold and green stickers match the trim and the body colour, while black or dark stickers blend into the inset panels for a quieter craft. Placing them along the receiver next to the code label keeps the yellow lines of the stock and scope visible.
