SCAR-20 | Powercore is a Restricted Gunsmith finish for the counter-terrorist auto-sniper, painted deep green with yellow trim and a small code label on the receiver. In Factory New the yellow lines stay sharp and continuous, and the dark green panels keep an even, glossy depth. This is the version where the finish looks as clean and technical as on the inspect image.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Factory New
The receiver and handguard are painted dark green with near-black inset panels, and a thin yellow line runs along the lower edge of the receiver. On the side sits a small label with the SCAR-20 marking and a barcode-style strip.
All yellow trim is intact, including the thin lines on the receiver and stock edges. The green panels are even, and the code label on the receiver is fully readable. In game the rifle looks crisp at any distance. Nothing on the scope, barrel or magazine shows wear.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Powercore is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir SCAR-20 | Powercore belongs to The Gamma 2 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Gamma 2 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Yellow, gold and green stickers match the trim and the body colour, while black or dark stickers blend into the inset panels for a quieter craft. Placing them along the receiver next to the code label keeps the yellow lines of the stock and scope visible.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear range, since the yellow trim on the stock and scope shows wear earlier than the green panels.
- Inspect the scope rings and magazine base, as these yellow details reveal scuffs first.
- Look at applied stickers and their positions, because they cover parts of the receiver and its code label.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it has a name tag, as these change the item you receive.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the yellow trim and code label fully intact.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean green base for colour-matched stickers.
- The choice for those who want the design exactly as intended.
