Show allAllSkin overview
Torn is a camouflage-like stripe finish in cream and dark olive that covers every part of the SCAR-20. In Field-Tested the edges of the rails, scope and magazine start to show darker scuffs where the light paint has thinned. The striped pattern is still clearly readable, and the scuffs blend into the rough look of the design.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The base colour is a pale cream or sand tone, crossed by irregular dark olive and near-black stripes with ragged, torn-looking edges. The pattern runs over the receiver, the long railed handguard, the scope body and its mounts, the magazine, the pistol grip and the skeleton stock.
Wear spreads along the handguard rails, the scope rings and caps, and the edges of the magazine, where dark metal shows through as small patches. The grip and the corners of the stock may also pick up light scuffs. In game the pattern is still clearly visible and the scuffs mostly read as part of the rough stripes. The flat sides of the receiver and stock keep most of their paint.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Torn is 0–0.45; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (51% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Shattered Web Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Shattered Web Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in olive, khaki, black or muted gold match the cream-and-olive stripes and keep a military look. Placing them on the receiver side or the stock, where the paint is calmest, avoids clashing with the busy handguard pattern.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low value in a grade means fewer dark spots on the pale base.
- Look at the handguard rails, scope rings and magazine edges first, as they lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
- The stripe placement is random, so compare how the stripes fall on the scope and stock if that matters to you.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, since they change the look and cannot be removed without scraping.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the recognisable stripes at a lower cost.
- Buyers who like the rough look, where scuffs blend into the torn pattern.
- A practical everyday choice for SCAR-20 users.
