Show allAllSkin overview
Barricade is a spray-painted maze pattern in muted grey-green and dark slate, and Field-Tested is where it starts to look used. Paint loss along the edges and raised parts breaks up the maze in places, yet the overall labyrinth effect remains recognisable. The low-contrast colours keep the scuffs from standing out at a distance.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The finish wraps the handguard, receiver, magazine, pistol grip and stock in a dense isometric maze of thin grey-green lines over a dark slate base. On the long handguard and receiver the labyrinth runs in angled, interlocking bands, while the magazine and grip carry tighter fragments of the same pattern.
Paint loss spreads along the handguard edges, magazine corners, grip and the rear of the stock, with some wear on the scope housing. The maze lines are broken in these areas, while the central receiver panels still carry most of the pattern. In game the rifle reads as clearly used, but the labyrinth is still visible. The low contrast keeps the damage from looking harsh.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Barricade is 0–0.65; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (35% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Muted greens, greys, black or holo stickers with cool tones match the dark maze without breaking its geometry. A single bright accent, such as a white or teal sticker on the receiver, stands out well against the low-contrast pattern. Keep busy multicolour stickers to a minimum so the labyrinth stays readable.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the edges of the handguard and magazine show the difference first.
- Look at the scope housing and stock rear in the inspect view, as these parts reveal wear that the dense pattern hides elsewhere.
- Souvenir copies come with their own stickers, so check whether they suit the grey-green maze before buying.
- Note any stickers or name tag on regular copies, because they change how the low-contrast finish looks.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Everyday players who want the labyrinth still visible on a used rifle.
- Budget-minded buyers looking for a balanced middle grade.
- A sensible choice for regular play.
