Skin overview

This is the red-and-black Darkwing finish with a feather motif, built around a dark barrel and handguard and a red rear section. Minimal Wear keeps the look almost identical to a pristine copy, with only faint marks that are hard to notice outside close inspection. It is the grade for buyers who want a clean-looking rifle without paying for the top condition.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The barrel, handguard rails and the upper part of the receiver are dark grey to black, and the scope is black as well. Toward the rear the receiver fades into red through flame-like feather edges, and the lower receiver, magazine, pistol grip and stock are painted deep red.

Small specks may appear on the magazine edges and the corners of the stock. The feather artwork and the red gradient on the receiver remain untouched. In first-person view the difference from Factory New is barely visible. The black front of the rifle still looks clean.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, red and gold stickers fit the scheme best, especially on the dark handguard where they do not cover the feather artwork. Holo or foil stickers in red tones work well near the transition from black to red on the receiver.

• Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested looks much cleaner than a high one.
• Inspect the magazine edges, grip bottom and stock corners, where the red paint wears first.
• Look at the feather lines on the magazine to see how much of the artwork is still sharp.
