SG 553 | Traveler is a restrained rifle finish that pairs a tan, finely striped receiver with grey metal parts and brown leather on the grip and butt pad. The look recalls old travel luggage rather than camouflage or bright artwork. In Factory New the tan panel keeps its even colour and the thin stripes stay sharp along the whole receiver.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver, upper and magazine well are painted tan-ochre with thin darker vertical stripes, imitating a vintage suitcase panel. The barrel, railed handguard and front sight stay in grey gunmetal, with a small piece of brown leather wrapped near the front sight.

The tan receiver is uniform and every thin stripe is crisp. Leather on the grip and butt pad keeps its full colour and stitching detail. The grey handguard, magazine and stock show no marks. In game the rifle looks exactly like the clean preview.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Traveler is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Baggage Collection with 15 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
