Skin overview

Traveler is built on contrast between a striped tan receiver and plain grey hardware, with brown leather wrapped around the grip and butt pad. In Field-Tested the brown panel starts to show scuffs at its edges, which suits the idea of a well-used travel case. From normal distance the striped section and leather still read clearly.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver, upper and magazine well are painted tan-ochre with thin darker vertical stripes, imitating a vintage suitcase panel. The barrel, railed handguard and front sight stay in grey gunmetal, with a small piece of brown leather wrapped near the front sight.

Scratches spread along the edges of the tan receiver and around the magazine well, breaking the stripes in a few spots. The leather grip shows lighter rubbed areas and the magazine edges show metal. In game the brown-and-grey layout reads clearly, with wear visible on the weapon in first person. The barrel, rails and stock still look largely clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Traveler is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Baggage Collection with 15 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in brown, cream, gold or muted orange sit well on the tan receiver and continue the luggage theme. Paper-style or holo stickers in warm tones placed along the grey handguard add contrast without clashing.
