Skin overview

The pour pattern runs over the receiver, handguard, scope and skeleton stock, giving the rifle a mixed copper, pink and blue surface. In Well-Worn the pattern is broken up by scuffs on edges and raised parts, which gives the finish a weathered, used look. The colour scheme is still clear enough to recognise the skin in game.

Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver and the long handguard carry the main pour pattern: copper-brown base with streaks of blush pink, gold and blue running along the length. The scope body repeats the same marbled colours, while the barrel, muzzle brake and bipod stay in plain dark grey.

Edges, the top rail, scope rings and stock corners are heavily scratched, and wear spreads onto the scope body and the handguard sides. The streaks lose part of their contrast, so the pink and blue look duller. In game the rifle reads as visibly used, though the palette is still recognisable. The flat central areas of the receiver keep the most pattern.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir SSG 08 | Blush Pour is 0–0.678; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in pink, gold or soft blue tie in with the pour streaks, while copper and brown tones blend with the base. Placing them on the handguard keeps them in line with the main pattern.

What to look at before you buy

• Compare the float position within the wear range, since low floats in a grade show noticeably cleaner handguard edges.
• Inspect the scope rings and the top rail, as these wear first on this finish.
• Souvenir copies come with their stickers already applied, so check whether they suit your taste.
• Look at any name tag, which may or may not fit the calm tone of the skin.
