Skin overview

SSG 08 | Dark Water covers the rifle in wavy charcoal stripes laid over a chrome base, giving it a dark, wet-metal look. In Minimal Wear, the cleanest grade this skin comes in, the stripes stay sharp and the chrome still reflects light between them. Only close inspection shows small marks along the edges.

Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and handguard carry the aquatic-stripe pattern: flowing bands of charcoal metallic paint with different levels of shine over a chrome base coat. The long barrel and muzzle brake are mostly dark, close to black, while the scope stays in matching dark grey tones.

Wear is limited to fine scratches on the edges of the receiver and the rail. The stripes on the handguard and receiver keep their contrast, and the chrome base still gives the finish its shine. At normal in-game distance it looks practically clean. The stock and grip show no noticeable marks.
