Show allAllSkin overview
SSG 08 | Necropos in Field-Tested looks like a rifle that has seen use: scratches appear on the barrel and receiver edges, while the olive base hides much of the wear. The green runes remain the main visual point, though some of them lose crisp edges. The worn military tone suits the drab colour scheme rather than spoiling it.
Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The barrel is painted in a dusty olive tone, with the muzzle brake, scope and bipod left dark. The receiver and handguard combine olive-grey panels with a finely textured grey section on the lower body.
Scratches spread along the barrel and on the edges of the receiver and handguard. Some runes lose sharpness and show small gaps. From normal distance the olive tone masks a good part of the wear, and the green line is still easy to see. The flat panels of the stock and the grip stay mostly clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir SSG 08 | Necropos ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Wildfire Collection with 16 skins in total.
The source is Operation Wildfire Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Green, black and dark olive stickers match the runes and the drab base best. Placing them on the receiver near the rune line keeps the look consistent, while bright warm colours would compete with the green accent.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear range, since the runes on low-float copies of a grade look noticeably better than on high-float ones.
- Look at the green runes in the inspect view, as they are the main detail and lose their outline first on worn copies.
- Inspect the barrel and receiver edges, where paint wears off earliest.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, and whether the copy is StatTrak™.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who like a used military look that suits the olive scheme.
- Buyers who want the runes to stay readable without paying for a cleaner grade.
- A practical everyday choice for regular play.
