Skin overview

Avalanche is recognisable by its contrast of a light, icy hydrographic and a dark, technical-looking receiver with orange highlights. In Field-Tested the pale areas start to show scuffs along the shroud and the lower edge of the magazine, while the overall blue-and-white impression still holds. It is a practical middle ground for everyday play.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The perforated barrel shroud is covered in a turquoise and white marbled hydrographic that resembles cracked ice, with the black holes standing out against the light pattern. The upper receiver continues the icy pattern with white trim lines, while the lower receiver and grip are dark grey with thin white outlines and a round emblem on the side.

Scuffs become visible on the shroud edges, the muzzle and the lower part of the magazine, where the white areas pick up grey marks. The receiver corners start to lose some of the pattern. In game the cyan-and-white look still reads clearly, with the wear noticeable mainly on inspect. The dark grip hides wear well and looks mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Avalanche is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
