Souvenir Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest (Factory New)

Skin overview

Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest is a hydrographic finish with lime and pale green bamboo leaves brushed over a cream base. In Factory New the cream reads clean and bright, and the leaf strokes keep their soft painted edges. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the light, almost paper-like look exactly as designed.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and barrel shroud are covered in a cream base with lime and pale green bamboo leaves and stalks applied as loose brush strokes, plus scattered dark specks. The ventilation holes on the shroud and the muzzle are dark, which frames the light front of the gun.

The cream base and both shades of green are intact across the shroud, receiver and grip. Edges of the muzzle and shroud show no bare metal. In game the gun reads as a light, clean pistol with soft green markings. The dark specks are part of the print, not damage.

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest is 0–0.6; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

What it costs in each quality

Among 8 skins of the Tec-9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Green, cream, white and black stickers sit naturally on this finish, as do paper or brush-style designs that echo the painted bamboo. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the leafy shroud visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the cream base makes even small scratches visible.
• Look at the muzzle, shroud edges and top rail first, as these lose the print earliest.
• The hydrographic placement shifts between copies, so compare how the leaves fall on the receiver and grip.
• A Souvenir version exists, so check whether the copy carries stickers and whether they suit you.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the light cream finish without a single scratch.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean base for light-coloured designs.
• The grade for anyone who values the intended look above everything else.
