Show allAllSkin overview
Bamboo Forest is recognisable by its pale cream finish and loose, brush-painted bamboo foliage in two shades of green. In Field-Tested the light base starts to show scuffs on the muzzle, shroud edges and top of the slide, which stand out more on cream than they would on a dark skin. The leaves on the frame and grip still read clearly.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver and barrel shroud are covered in a cream base with lime and pale green bamboo leaves and stalks applied as loose brush strokes, plus scattered dark specks. The ventilation holes on the shroud and the muzzle are dark, which frames the light front of the gun.
Scratches spread along the shroud edges, around the ventilation holes and over the top rail and rear sight. The muzzle area shows bare metal more clearly. The receiver sides and grip keep most of their leaves, with light marks near the trigger guard. In game the wear is visible on the front of the gun because the cream base shows every scuff.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Bamboo Forest ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 8 skins of the Tec-9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Green, cream, white and black stickers sit naturally on this finish, as do paper or brush-style designs that echo the painted bamboo. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the leafy shroud visible.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the cream base makes even small scratches visible.
- Look at the muzzle, shroud edges and top rail first, as these lose the print earliest.
- The hydrographic placement shifts between copies, so compare how the leaves fall on the receiver and grip.
- A Souvenir version exists, so check whether the copy carries stickers and whether they suit you.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the bamboo theme and accept visible scuffs at the front.
- Buyers looking for a balanced option between look and spend.
- A reasonable middle choice, best picked with a lower float.
