Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred turns the yellow and black Banana Leaf print into a weathered finish with heavy scratching on the exposed parts. The colour scheme still gives the Tec-9 its recognisable look, just faded and broken up. It is the most affordable route to this design.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The perforated barrel shroud and the upper receiver are covered in a yellow leaf print with dark veins and brown-black shading, while the muzzle and cocking handle remain dark metal. The lower frame, trigger guard and grip are painted a solid orange-yellow with only small markings.
The leaf print is heavily scratched on the shroud and magazine, with wide patches of exposed metal. The grip and frame edges are chipped and the yellow looks dulled. Since the float range for this skin stops short of the extreme end, some colour remains on the flat parts, and in game the pistol reads as rough but recognisable.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.6
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Banana Leaf is 0–0.6; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.6 segment (25% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Harlequin Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Taking Battle-Scarred as the baseline:
- Factory New — 3361× dearer
- Minimal Wear — 2265× dearer
- Field-Tested — 1679× dearer
The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.
By price this skin is 6th of 7 skins Industrial Grade Tec-9 in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, gold and dark green stickers blend with the leaf print, while a single bold sticker stands out well on the plain yellow frame. Placements on the side of the frame read best, as the shroud is already busy with pattern.
What to look at before you buy
- Compare the float within the chosen wear, since a low float keeps the shroud and magazine print noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the shroud edges, the magazine base and the grip edges, as these parts lose the print first.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they match the look you want.
- Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the overall appearance of the skin.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget players who want the cheapest entry into this design.
- Fans of heavily weathered finishes.
- Conclusion: the most affordable way to get the Banana Leaf look.
