Souvenir Tec-9 | Banana Leaf (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Banana Leaf gives the Tec-9 a tropical yellow and black camouflage that is easy to recognise from the first-person view. In Field-Tested the print starts to lose crispness on the shroud and magazine, while the large yellow areas still carry the colour. In game the overall look holds up well.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The perforated barrel shroud and the upper receiver are covered in a yellow leaf print with dark veins and brown-black shading, while the muzzle and cocking handle remain dark metal. The lower frame, trigger guard and grip are painted a solid orange-yellow with only small markings.

Scuffs spread along the shroud holes, the top of the receiver and the magazine base, and the leaf print loses some sharpness there. The grip edges begin to show small chips in the yellow paint. The large flat surfaces of the frame still look tidy, and in game the skin reads as lightly used.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Banana Leaf ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Harlequin Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this:

• Factory New — 2× dearer
• Minimal Wear — 33% dearer
• Battle-Scarred — 1679× cheaper

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Among 6 skins of the Tec-9 in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, gold and dark green stickers blend with the leaf print, while a single bold sticker stands out well on the plain yellow frame. Placements on the side of the frame read best, as the shroud is already busy with pattern.

What to check before buying

• Compare the float within the chosen wear, since a low float keeps the shroud and magazine print noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the shroud edges, the magazine base and the grip edges, as these parts lose the print first.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they match the look you want.
• Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the overall appearance of the skin.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the yellow and black look in game and do not inspect closely.
• Buyers looking for a cheap themed pistol for a terrorist loadout.
• Conclusion: a practical everyday choice.
