Skin overview

Tec-9 | Brother in Field-Tested is the middle ground for this gold-and-brown Terrorist pistol. Scuffs start to appear on the receiver edges, but the camo and the overall warm look still read clearly. It suits players who want the recognisable colours without paying for a pristine finish.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver is painted gold-ochre with brown camo patches and engraved lettering on the side. The barrel shroud and top rail are black, the shroud perforated with round holes along its length.

Visible scuffs appear along the receiver edges, the trigger guard and the magazine base. The grip ridges start to lose some gold. In game the camo still reads well, with wear noticeable mainly on the edges. The centre of the receiver and the agent face stay mostly clean.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Brother ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Fracture Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Fracture Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, brown and black stickers blend with the camo, and red accents echo the magazine bands. Placements on the gold receiver side stand out best against the warm base.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the receiver edges noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the agent face under the rear sight, as it is one of the first details to lose clarity.
  • Inspect the trigger guard, grip ridges and magazine base, which wear first on this finish.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag to make sure they suit your taste.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Regular T-side players who want the gold-and-brown look in game.
  • Buyers balancing appearance and cost.
  • A practical everyday copy.
