Show allAllSkin overview
Cut Out is a dark lace print of butterflies and flowers limited to the shroud, with the rest of the pistol left in plain grey. In Battle-Scarred the shroud is heavily scuffed, and the grey frame and magazine show clear scratches, so the weapon looks rough and handled. It keeps the skin's silhouette and colours at the lowest entry point.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The pattern sits on the long upper shroud and barrel area, where a black base is filled with silver-grey butterflies, leaves and flower shapes that form a lace-like texture. The receiver, trigger guard, grip and long magazine are left in a plain matte grey without any print.
The shroud print is heavily scuffed across the ribs, front end and opening edges, and many motifs are only partly visible. The grey receiver, grip and magazine show dense scratches, especially on edges and flat faces of the magazine. Recessed areas of the shroud keep traces of the pattern. In game the weapon reads as rough and worn, with the lace motif reduced to a texture.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Cut Out is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Operation Hydra Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Operation Hydra Case.
What it costs in each quality
Among 10 skins of the Tec-9 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, silver and white stickers continue the shroud's monochrome look without breaking it. Placed on the plain grey receiver, a single accent in a soft floral or pastel colour can echo the spring theme of the pattern.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the shroud print loses contrast gradually across the range.
- Look at the front edge and raised ribs of the shroud, where the pattern rubs off first.
- Inspect the magazine and the edges of the grey frame for scratches on more worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the plain grey receiver looks.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget players who want the skin's colours at minimal cost.
- Fans of a rough, heavily used weapon look.
- The cheapest way to put Cut Out in your loadout.
