Show allAllSkin overview
Cut Out is recognisable by its dark, lace-like shroud filled with butterflies and flowers above a plain grey receiver and magazine. In Field-Tested the print starts to lose contrast on the raised parts of the shroud, but the overall dark-and-silver look is still clear. It reads as a used weapon rather than a damaged one.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The pattern sits on the long upper shroud and barrel area, where a black base is filled with silver-grey butterflies, leaves and flower shapes that form a lace-like texture. The receiver, trigger guard, grip and long magazine are left in a plain matte grey without any print.
The print shows visible rubbing on the raised ribs and the front end of the shroud, and the silver motifs lose some contrast there. Light scratches begin to appear on the edges of the magazine and receiver. The central part of the shroud still shows the butterfly pattern clearly. In game the skin keeps its dark lace look with a slightly worn texture.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Cut Out ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Operation Hydra Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Operation Hydra Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Black, silver and white stickers continue the shroud's monochrome look without breaking it. Placed on the plain grey receiver, a single accent in a soft floral or pastel colour can echo the spring theme of the pattern.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the shroud print loses contrast gradually across the range.
- Look at the front edge and raised ribs of the shroud, where the pattern rubs off first.
- Inspect the magazine and the edges of the grey frame for scratches on more worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the plain grey receiver looks.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the dark lace style for everyday matches.
- Buyers who accept light rubbing on the shroud edges.
- A practical pick for regular play.
