Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the copper and teal of Flash Out are broken by heavy chips that show dark metal underneath, mostly at the front of the pistol. Some players prefer this rough look, as if the pistol had been through every round of a match. It is the cheapest way to own the design.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The perforated barrel shroud is painted metallic copper-orange with dark round holes, and a mint-teal band runs around its rear section. The upper receiver continues in copper with a green stripe along its lower edge and small markings near the rear.

Heavy chipping covers the shroud, the muzzle and the top of the receiver, and the teal band is broken by bare spots. The magazine and grip edges are worn, with patchy grey paint. In game the front of the pistol looks rough and darker. The flat sides of the receiver and the lower body hold the most colour.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.7

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Flash Out ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.7 — 36% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The CS20 Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is CS20 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in copper, orange, gold or teal tones match the upper and the shroud band. Placements on the grey lower receiver above the magazine keep the grenade theme on the upper clear, while white or grey stickers blend into the pale magazine.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within its wear range, since copies at the cleaner end look noticeably better on the shroud.
  • Inspect the muzzle and the edges of the shroud holes, as the copper wears there first.
  • Look at the pale magazine, because scuffs show up clearly on its light paint.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they suit the copper and teal scheme.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players who want the design at the lowest entry cost.
  • Fans of a rough, heavily chipped style.
