Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most thematic condition for a skin whose description says the gun is well-loved rather than used. Large areas of the camo are gone, exposing metal across the frame and grip. The silhouette still reads through the dark scorched shroud and the reddish magazine.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and pistol grip are covered in olive and sand-green camouflage blotches, with a grey grip panel at the rear. The perforated barrel shroud is dark metal with blue, purple and green heat tint that suggests a scorched muzzle.
Most of the camo on the receiver and grip is worn away, leaving large areas of exposed metal. The magazine is heavily chipped along its length. The dark shroud changes the least, since it is already dark and scorched by design. In game the skin reads as a battered green and rust-red pistol.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Fubar is 0.14–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (64% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Danger Zone Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Danger Zone Case.
What it costs in each quality
Among 10 skins of the Tec-9 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Olive, khaki and brown stickers blend with the camo and the military theme. Copper or red-orange accents echo the magazine, and holo stickers with blue or purple tones match the heat tint on the shroud.
What to check before buying
- Minimal Wear is the best available grade, so compare floats within it if you want the cleanest copy.
- Look at the receiver edges and trigger guard, since the camo wears there first.
- Check the magazine corners and base for paint chips on worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and name tag, as they change the look and the value of a particular copy.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Fans of heavily worn finishes that match the skin's theme.
- The cheapest entry into this skin for everyday play.
- The most thematic grade for a well-loved pistol.
