Tec-9 | Fubar is a military-themed Mil-Spec pistol finish with olive green camouflage on the frame, a heat-tinted barrel shroud and a rust-red magazine. The skin cannot be cleaner than Minimal Wear, so this grade is the freshest version available. Here the camo is crisp and the blue and purple scorch marks on the shroud read clearly.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The receiver and pistol grip are covered in olive and sand-green camouflage blotches, with a grey grip panel at the rear. The perforated barrel shroud is dark metal with blue, purple and green heat tint that suggests a scorched muzzle.
This is the cleanest grade the skin exists in, and the range for it is narrow. Camo blotches on the receiver and grip are intact, with at most tiny marks on sharp edges. The heat tint on the shroud and the rust-red magazine look exactly as intended. In game the pistol reads as a clean green camo Tec-9.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.14–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Fubar is 0.14–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.14–0.15 segment (1% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Danger Zone Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Danger Zone Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Olive, khaki and brown stickers blend with the camo and the military theme. Copper or red-orange accents echo the magazine, and holo stickers with blue or purple tones match the heat tint on the shroud.
What to look at before you buy
- Minimal Wear is the best available grade, so compare floats within it if you want the cleanest copy.
- Look at the receiver edges and trigger guard, since the camo wears there first.
- Check the magazine corners and base for paint chips on worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and name tag, as they change the look and the value of a particular copy.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want the cleanest version of this finish.
- Collectors filling a Tec-9 set in the best available grade.
- A tidy camo Tec-9 for those who prefer clean paint.
