Show allAllSkin overview
Fuel Injector is easy to recognise by its bright yellow body against the dark shroud and the patterned magazine. In Field-Tested the yellow begins to chip along edges and corners, which gives the pistol a used workshop look that fits the theme. The colour contrast still holds at normal distance.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver and lower frame are painted solid yellow, with small stencilled warning labels and markings printed on the sides. The barrel shroud is dark grey with a row of round perforations, and the top cover and rear sight area are dark metal.
Chips in the yellow paint become noticeable along the receiver edges, front corners and trigger guard. The magazine shows light scuffing on its raised edges, and the stencilled text starts to fade in places. In first-person view the wear is visible but the yellow still dominates. The flat sides of the receiver and most of the grip panel stay largely intact.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Fuel Injector is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Tec-9 | Fuel Injector belongs to The Gamma 2 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Gamma 2 Case.
What it costs in each quality
Among 3 skins of the Tec-9 in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, grey and yellow stickers blend with the receiver and keep the industrial theme. Placements on the yellow receiver side stand out best, while dark or metallic stickers sit naturally near the shroud.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float shows noticeably fewer chips on the yellow receiver.
- Look at the receiver edges, front corners and trigger guard, as they lose paint first.
- Inspect the magazine pattern on worn copies, because its raised edges fade early.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether StatTrak™ or Souvenir is the version you want.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who like a slightly used, workshop look that suits the theme.
- Buyers who want the full colour contrast at a moderate cost.
- Conclusion: a practical grade for everyday play.
