Skin overview

Tec-9 | Jambiya in Battle-Scarred keeps its basic palette of dark metal, grey-green and cream, but much of the fine ornament is worn through. The grip and magazine show the heaviest loss of detail, while the overall silhouette of the pattern remains. It is the most rugged way to carry this design.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel shroud is dark bronze-black with rows of round vent holes ringed in bronze and thin etched patterns running along the top. The receiver is a muted grey-green covered with fine engraved ornament.

Heavy wear covers the shroud, receiver, grip and magazine, and much of the etched detail is gone. The ivory grip is strongly darkened and patchy, and the magazine diamonds are partly worn through. In game the weapon reads as dark metal with faded light patches. Only the general colour scheme and the larger shapes of the ornament remain.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Jambiya is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Wildfire Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in gold, bronze, cream or deep red match the ornament and the magazine diamonds. Placing them on the dark shroud makes them stand out, while placements near the ivory grip blend with the inlay. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the antique palette.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the ivory grip and fine etching change noticeably between low and high floats.
  • Look at the rims of the vent holes and the top of the shroud, which show wear first.
  • Inspect the ivory grip edges and the magazine diamonds on worn copies, as these light areas reveal damage most clearly.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, and on StatTrak™ copies the counter, as they all change how the item looks.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players on the tightest budget who want any version of Jambiya.
  • Fans of heavily worn, rugged-looking weapons.
  • Conclusion: the entry option, with the look reduced to colours and broad shapes.
