Skin overview

Jambiya is built around contrast: dark perforated metal up front, light ivory on the grip and a geometric strip down the magazine. In Field-Tested the darker parts pick up visible scuffing while the overall ornament stays readable. The worn metal suits the antique character of the design rather than breaking it.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The barrel shroud is dark bronze-black with rows of round vent holes ringed in bronze and thin etched patterns running along the top. The receiver is a muted grey-green covered with fine engraved ornament.

Scuffs become visible along the top of the shroud, around the vent holes and on the upper edges of the receiver. The ivory grip starts to look slightly dulled, with small marks at its edges. In game the pattern reads clearly, with the wear showing mostly as darker spots on the metal. The magazine diamonds are still mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Jambiya is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Wildfire Collection with 16 skins in total.

The source is Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in gold, bronze, cream or deep red match the ornament and the magazine diamonds. Placing them on the dark shroud makes them stand out, while placements near the ivory grip blend with the inlay. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the antique palette.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the ivory grip and fine etching change noticeably between low and high floats.
  • Look at the rims of the vent holes and the top of the shroud, which show wear first.
  • Inspect the ivory grip edges and the magazine diamonds on worn copies, as these light areas reveal damage most clearly.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, and on StatTrak™ copies the counter, as they all change how the item looks.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who like the antique feel that light scuffing adds to the ornament.
  • Buyers looking for an affordable Tec-9 that still reads clearly in game.
  • Conclusion: a balanced everyday option for this design.
