Skin overview

Tec-9 | Rust Leaf is a spray-paint finish with an orange pattern of overlapping leaves over a dark, greyish-green base. In Factory New the leaf outlines stay crisp on the receiver, shroud and long magazine, and the orange keeps its full warm tone. This is the cleanest way to see the pattern as it was painted.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The whole Tec-9 is covered in a dark grey-green base with orange leaves sprayed over it in overlapping layers. The pattern runs continuously across the receiver, the perforated barrel shroud, the grip and the long magazine, with no separate colour blocks.

The paint is intact on every part of the pistol. The leaf outlines are sharp and the orange is evenly saturated on the shroud, receiver, grip and magazine. In game the pattern reads clearly even at normal viewing distance.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Rust Leaf is 0–0.5; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (14% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The St. Marc Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, brown, gold and muted green stickers blend with the autumn palette. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the leaf pattern on the shroud and magazine visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies at the clean end of a grade look noticeably better.
• Look at the shroud holes, muzzle and cocking knob, as these parts lose paint first.
• Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so make sure their look suits you.
• Check for a name tag or applied stickers if you plan your own craft.
