Skin overview

The Rust Leaf finish turns the Tec-9 into an autumn-coloured pistol, with orange leaves scattered over a muted dark base. At Minimal Wear the look is almost identical to a fresh copy, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. It is a sensible pick for anyone who wants a near-clean finish without paying for the top grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole Tec-9 is covered in a dark grey-green base with orange leaves sprayed over it in overlapping layers. The pattern runs continuously across the receiver, the perforated barrel shroud, the grip and the long magazine, with no separate colour blocks.

Small specks of wear may appear on the edges of the shroud holes and the tip of the muzzle. The receiver, grip and magazine still look clean. In game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Rust Leaf is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Tec-9 | Rust Leaf belongs to The St. Marc Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, brown, gold and muted green stickers blend with the autumn palette. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the leaf pattern on the shroud and magazine visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies at the clean end of a grade look noticeably better.
  • Look at the shroud holes, muzzle and cocking knob, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so make sure their look suits you.
  • Check for a name tag or applied stickers if you plan your own craft.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look for less than the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters who do not mind tiny edge marks.
  • A balanced option between appearance and cost.
