Show allAllSkin overview
Safety Net is a simple, loud skin: an orange mesh wrapped around the whole Tec-9 body. In Field-Tested the orange starts to break up on the edges and the barrel shroud, giving the pistol a used, workwear feel. From normal view distance the pattern still reads clearly as orange netting.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The orange mesh runs over the whole upper receiver, the perforated barrel shroud and the lower frame down to the grip. The net is made of rounded cells with dark edges, and the white base shows through some of them as pale spots.
Wear becomes visible on the muzzle, around the shroud holes and along the top rail. The orange lightens in patches there, and the cell pattern loses some sharpness. At normal distance the skin still looks orange and tidy. The sides of the frame and the area near the grip stay mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Safety Net ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Tec-9 | Safety Net belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this: Battle-Scarred — about the same. The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.
Among 8 skins of the Tec-9 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, white and grey stickers work well against the orange mesh and echo the dark magazine and grip panel. Orange or yellow holo stickers keep the high-visibility theme, and the flat side of the frame above the grip gives the clearest placement.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since a low float keeps the shroud and muzzle noticeably cleaner.
- Check the barrel shroud and the top rail first, as these show wear earliest on this skin.
- The pattern is a uniform mesh, so pattern placement barely changes the look between copies.
- Check for applied stickers and a name tag, which may or may not suit your plans for the skin.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want a bright terrorist-side pistol on a moderate budget.
- Those who like a slightly used look that still reads as clean in game.
- Conclusion: a practical everyday option.
