Show allAllSkin overview
Slag is built on contrast between a dark, worn-metal barrel shroud and a light grey fabric-like finish on the rest of the gun. In Field-Tested the edges start to show scuffs, which suits the handmade theme rather than spoiling it.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The barrel shroud with its round cut-outs is painted dark brown to near black, with scratched, scorched-metal tones and light streaks along the top. The receiver and grip are covered in a pale grey finish with a fine woven, almost fabric-like texture that matches the handmade theme described in the item text.
Wear becomes visible along the edges of the receiver, the magazine corners and the front of the grip. Some light dirt settles on the pale surfaces. In game the scheme reads as before, just slightly grittier, and the centre of the panels still holds most of the texture.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Slag ranges from 0 to 0.9; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 26% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Tec-9 | Slag belongs to The Kilowatt Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Kilowatt Case.
Price by quality
Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this: Factory New — 896× dearer. Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 8 skins of the Tec-9 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Dark, rusty or brown stickers echo the barrel shroud and blend with the industrial theme. Muted metallic or paper-style stickers on the pale receiver keep the improvised look, while bright colours will dominate the gun.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the pale receiver shows wear sooner than the dark shroud.
- Look at the receiver edges and magazine corners on the inspect screen, as these parts lose paint first.
- Check the condition and placement of any applied stickers, because they stand out strongly on the light grey body.
- Note whether the copy has a name tag or a StatTrak™ counter if that matters to you.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the edge scuffs that suit the improvised theme.
- Buyers looking for a balanced option for everyday play.
- Conclusion: a practical middle ground where wear fits the design.
