Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the yellow, cream and grey blocks of Terrace are broken up by large patches of exposed metal, especially at the front and on the magazine. The geometric pattern survives mostly on the central frame and grip. It is the cheapest way to get this colour scheme, with a rough, worn look.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, frame and perforated barrel shroud are covered in a dense pattern of angular yellow, cream and dark grey shapes arranged like steps. The grip carries the same pattern, with dark grip panels blending into the darker blocks.

Large patches of the shroud and muzzle are stripped to metal, and the magazine is heavily scraped. The grip and frame edges show clear paint loss, breaking up the block pattern. In game the pistol reads as rough and weathered. Only the central frame keeps the pattern relatively whole.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Terrace ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, dark grey or gold stickers blend well with the yellow and dark block pattern. Placing a single dark sticker on the frame above the grip keeps the busy pattern from feeling cluttered, while yellow-toned stickers echo the magazine.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the grade, since the solid yellow magazine shows scratches earlier than the patterned frame.
  • Look at the muzzle and the shroud holes, as they lose paint first.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit your taste.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied, since they change how the busy pattern reads.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget players looking for the cheapest entry to this skin.
  • Fans of heavily worn, rough-looking finishes.
  • Conclusion: the entry option for those who do not mind exposed metal.
